Liberated airfield
The Tempelhof park/field, a converted airport, is a free 355 hectar enormous playground for the whole city. Colourful kites float in the air, skater boys and girls zip around the old runways, kiteborders and cyclist enjoy the free feeling on the straightaways. There’s even urban gardening next to BBQ areas and lawn.
